Cursor

Cursor can use your apixly key for its OpenAI-key based features by overriding the OpenAI base URL.

Settings

  • Open Cursor Settings → Models.
  • Paste your key into the OpenAI API Key field.
  • Enable “Override OpenAI Base URL” and set it to https://apixly.ai/v1.
  • Verify the connection, then select a model ID from GET /v1/models.

Some Cursor features (e.g. Tab autocomplete) run only on Cursor's own backend and ignore custom keys; chat works with the override. Menu names can move between versions.
